A gifted friend recently drew this for me. It has made me a true believer of prophetic art. God drew this through the hands of my dear friend, and the interpretation spoke directly to my heart. While I won’t share the message, I can tell you that it spoke to the cry of my heart, a cry only God has heard. Thank you, Brandon, for this beautiful gift.
Wow. I love prophetic art! So much to see. I see that we are created out of His great love. Fearfully & Wonderfully made
@swrach – Yes and amen!
At the beginning of last year I did not understand prophetic art – can I admit that I didn’t even know what it was. I’ve learned so much over the past year, and there’s still so much more!
I would encourage everyone to really explore their creativity. I struggled under the lies and my own vows concerning my creativity and imagination. God’s truth is so much better! Allow God to draw out the creative genius He has placed in you and use it for His glory!
I am constantly amazed how God speaks to us in so many varying and creative ways that just pierce our hearts and reach our very cores with His love.
@tqr51, you have described it perfectly! God pierces our heart – sometimes the joy with which God fills me is almost too much to bear.
When class started last year I had a lot of doubt about prophetic art – it just wasn’t for me. Actually, I had a lot of doubts about a lot of things, mostly because I doubted that I could hear from God the way other folks were. This drawing changed all of that! Brandon drew it for me, and I was so overwhelmed by it that I literally ran out of the room. Standing alone outside in the dark, rainy night, calling out to God, hearing nothing, I felt totally broken. But you see, Papa was speaking to me – through this art. When I returned to class, Brandon shared what Papa said to him as he drew this beautiful piece. I have to say, it was a major turning point in my life, and I have never been the same.
Thank you for commenting on this. You’ve stirred up memories of the craziest nights – in the worst and the BEST ways – of my first year! God bless!
I can see why this image impacted you so much. It is truly beautiful and powerful. Surrounded by swirling love. I too did not know much about prophetic art, but last year’s school really helped me to see the power of it. We introduced it to teenagers on a ministry trip this summer and they LOVED it! They just ate it up. It’s a reminder to me that God speaks in many ways. In the west, we are much too wedded to a “rational thought” way of knowing. There are many ways of “knowing” and art is one of the more beautiful ways. Blessings,
@freedomisgood – how exciting! Everyone needs to feel love, and God really loves on us through art. And I think everyone desires to create beauty with their hands. God can do amazing things through us when we allow Him to.
I’d love to hear more about how your teenagers responded to prophetic art. Your ministry sounds remarkable. Thank you for pouring out your love into these young people. You are changing the world!
Michelle, What a beautiful website/blogspot…I love your writing on Emotions, on the Mirror Translation…you have a very tender heart! Also, going to Bethel Conference & not feeling worthy to receive…I’ve been there. I’m so glad Papa blesses us anyway! The Love Art work is amazing…looks like an angel worshipping Jesus….maybe it’s you dancing in the spirit! Keep writing! You”ve got the anointing!
@ godsblessedoneNorma – thank you for reading my blog and responding with gentle insight. I felt warmth, encouragement, and love in your words. It’s one thing to write on a blog without thinking of someone you know reading and responding. It’s quite another to know others are reading your “insides.” I am so thankful for everyone’s kindness and honor. Thank you for yours!
beautiful in all ways! i first was exposed to prophetic art early this year during my first visit to bethel. a 12 year old boy drew a picture with a message from Papa that was “just for me!” i was stunned and felt His amazing love for me. i can sense His love and intimacy with you in this art. thanks for sharing.
@ graceaston – thank you for sharing your experience with me! God is so amazing! And so are those who step out in faith and share what God is giving them to share.
I am so happy that you were loved on in such an intimate way. Papa chose that moment and that 12 year old boy to love you in such an intimate way that you had no other choice but to know that you know it is GOD and that HE LOVES YOU. For me, that knowing broke through my head knowledge and rested permanently in my heart. That was better than the message itself!
Again, thank you for sharing with me, and please consider sharing it in your blog. It’s the “new” way to shout from the roof tops, and your voice will carry around the world! Bless you and bless all you do.
Beautiful~
